USTDA Reverse Trade Mission

Home

We are very excited for our partnership this year with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). The USTDA is an independent agency of the United States Government whose mission is to promote economic growth in developing and middle income countries, while simultaneously helping American businesses to export their products and services, thereby driving economic growth.  The organization is active in dozens of countries around the world - supporting energy and infrastrcuture projects to help create more resilient and clean energy infrastructure in developing countries and emerging economies.

The Energy Storage Association has worked closely with USTDA to convene a Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) which will bring dozens of decision makers, utility executives and energy ministries from across the globe.  One of the few multi-country RTM's ever conducted by the agency, these executives will be coming to understand the energy storage industry and its rapid growth in the US and are ona  mission to undertake specific projects in their home countries. The USTDA is a partner in these projects - helping secure funding and support - meaning companies can gain valuable governmental support while developing new markets for their energy storage solutions.

This Trade Mission provides a truly unique opportunity to explore international business opportunities and discover new global partners that will help to grow the energy storage industry. We look forward to welcoming our international delegation, and to having them share their persepctives as part of the conference education program. A full list of USTDA RTM delegates will be released in advance of the conference.
